Multiple roles in India
We have worked in India since our first DFAT-funded GRAFT program in 2019, and we are thrilled to now be establishing Beanstalk India, with a new office in Delhi. Few places matter more to the future of food. Agriculture employs more than 40% of India’s workforce, and its national agricultural research system is one of the largest in the world, producing science with real potential for smallholders. The opportunity is turning that science into technologies that reach farmers, and it is exactly what we have done with governments, research institutions and founders across the Indo-Pacific through our venture studios, technology landing pads and commercialisation programs.
Anchored by a two-year partnership with a global philanthropic foundation, we are bringing that experience to India's agricultural research system and its commercialisation ecosystem. This program is the foundation for what Beanstalk builds in India next, and we are hiring four Delhi-based roles to help lead it.
